Transfer 13, Week 2

Put on your crash helmets ladies and gentlemen, this one's gonna be short. Very busy P-Day today!

So, Loredana is our newest investigator! Her mother is a less-active member that we went looking for a couple weeks ago, only to find out from Loredana that her mother has Alzheimer's and is confined to her bed. But Loredana left us her number and said we could come back to share a message. When we went this week she was at the window waiting for us and even though she was exhausted from the effort of taking care of her mother we were able to bring the Spirit into her home. She said she would never have time to read the Book of Mormon and that she couldn't follow our questions because of how tired she was, and yet she agreed to have us come back for another lesson! I don't know what will happen next. But I do know Loredana felt something and that she wants to feel it again.

A miracle happened with Vittoria: she's been reading the Book of Mormon from the beginning and highlighting and taking notes as she goes! She was concerned about some of the things she read, but the Spirit told us exactly what to say and we invited her to pray about it. She seemed satisfied with the answer we gave her and said she would keep reading.This is a big miracle because in the past she didn't want to read the Book of Mormon from the beginning, she just wanted specific verses to read. And yet that's exactly what she's doing! She didn't come to church so still working on that, but things are looking up.

We've been counting the number of conversations we have on the street with people about the gospel and this week we pushed our record up to 58! The goal for this week is 70 and I'm confident we can make it...:)

Hoping to see Mariano and  Carla this week and looking forward to updating you guys on them! Cagliari is blowing me away with all the miracles I've been seeing. It's a good place to be.

Allora, Loredana è la nostra  simpatizzante più recente! Sua madre è un membro meno attivo che siamo andate a  cercare un paio di settimane fa solo per poi scoprire da Loredana che sua madre ha l'Alzheimer e che è confinata a letto. Ma Loredana ci ha lasciato il suo numero e ci ha detto che potevamo tornare per dare un messaggio. Quando ci siamo andate questa settimana lei ci stava aspettando alla finestra e anche se era stanchissima per la fatica di badare a sua madre abbiamo potuto portare lo Spirito nella sua casa. Ci ha detto che non avrebbe mai il tempo di leggere il Libro di Mormon e che non poteva seguire le nostre domande per quanto era stanca eppure ha acconsentito a farci tornare per un'altra lezione! Non so cosa succederà in seguito. Ma so che Loredana ha sentito qualcosa e che vuole sentirlo di nuovo.

Un miracolo è successo con Vittoria: sta leggendo il Libro di Mormon dall'inizio, mettendo in evidenza versetti e prendendo note mentre lo legge! Era interdetta da alcune cose che aveva letto ma lo Spirito ci ha detto esattamente che cosa dovevamo dire e l'abbiamo invitata a pregare riguardo a ciò. Ci è parsa soddisfatta della risposta che le abbiamo dato e ci ha detto che avrebbe continuato a leggerlo. Questo è un grosso miracolo perché in passato non voleva leggere il Libro di Mormon dall'inizio, voleva solo specifici versetti da leggere. E questo è esattamente ciò che sta facendo! Non è venuta in chiesa così ci stiamo impegnando su questo, ma le cose stanno procedendo.

Abbiamo contato il numero di conversazioni che abbiamo avuto per la strada con le persone in merito al Vangelo questa settimana e abbiamo spinto il nostro record a 58! La meta per questa settimana è di 70 e sono certa che ce la faremo...:)

Speriamo di vedere Mariano e Carla questa settimana e non vediamo l'ora di darvi degli aggiornamenti su di loro! Cagliari mi sta stupendo tantissimo con tutti i miracoli che sto vedendo. È un buon posto in cui stare.
