Transfer 12, Week 1

Note: The names of the investigators have been changed

Only one transfer left after this one. That's nine P-days. Can you believe that?? I feel like I just got here. And at the same time it's been quite a long adventure, but the best one of my life for sure. :)

This week was a series of surprises one after the other... At our lesson with Clelia on Wednesday we unexpectedly found out why she hasn't been reading the Book of Mormon and what her underlying problems with it are! We found out that she hasn't felt forgiven for some things that happened with her mother before she passed away and she not only said the closing prayer willingly, she started to cry and asked to be forgiven right there in the prayer! It was a lot to take in at once and I don't know where it will take Clelia, but we're praying she'll open her heart.

We passed off one of our investigators to the zone leaders this week and it went really well! They had a return appointment already scheduled with him for Saturday! Afterwards when we got on the bus they started talking to everyone and they didn't stop for a second. It was a great example to see and I'm grateful, as always, to be working here with them. :)

We FINALLY invited Marco to be baptized. He didn't say yes but he didn't say no either. Haha. We're going to keep teaching him though. He still comes to church every Sunday and he's still praying for his cat and willingly reading the Book of Mormon verses we've been sending him. So there's something there! He just needs time.

Sonia has been too busy to see us, but today she asked us what verses we had asked her to read in Nephi! We were so excited! She's keeping up with the reading and she wants to see us this Wednesday! I love her so so much.

Oh yeah, zone conference. This one was a challenge! As STL (Sister Training Leader) in the Sardegna zone I have a 45-minute addestramento (training) to present at zone conferences, so I spent a lot of time at the beginning of the week preparing. I prayed hard to know what to teach and after a long wrestle with the Spirit I knew exactly what to say. It was great! I wasn't nervous, I felt the Spirit teaching through me, and I got a lot out of my notes as I prepared. Leadership positions aren't supposed to be easy. That's what makes you grow. :)

Us sorelle put together a beautiful musical number for our zone conference that I completely forgot to get on video (sorry family...)!!... It was a lot of stuff to take care of in one week and

yet throughout all of this Sorella Bicchierri was super supportive and so very kind and patient. I don't know what I'd do without her!!!

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter. Wishing everyone a happy Conference this weekend! I can't wait! (Link here: https://www.lds.org/general-conference?cid=HP14GC&lang=eng)

 Love you all!

                              TRADUZIONE IN ITALIANO

(Link here: https://www.lds.org/general-conference?cid=HP14GC&lang=eng )
